My AIMS experience was pretty much the same as every AIMS test, an overused topic having to do with the school and an hour of boredom, while waiting for everyone to finish.

The Weekend
Over the weekend, nothing much really happened. This was due to me being grounded. I wasn't able to do anything: watch T.V., go outside, hang out with friends, or play video games. Basically, I spent most of the weekend catching up on homework and that's it. Unfortunately, I have another weekend ahead that should be very similar.

MacBook
I'd buy a MacBook Pro beause I currently have a PC from 2001 that is still running on xp or some crappy software and is slower than a turtle. The reason I want a Mac over a PC is because my mom has a Mac desktop and I like it so much better than my PC. Also, since I have an iPhone and iPad, I don't see why not.

News Desk Background
I thought this assignment was pretty cool. I didn't really understand what to do at first because when I searched it up on the internet, most of the results weren't news rooms they were more of a green screen backdrop or something but after Mr. Larsen described it, I was able to figure out what to do and I'm pretty happy with where I am with it.

Best Friend
My best friend is a Fresman named Joe. The reason he's my best friend is probably because I've known him since I was 4 or 5 and we'v been through so much together.

Kids
When I have kids, I would definitely let them play sports. For one, I've played sports all of my lofe and see nothing wrong with letting my kids play. Also, not only are sports a great learning experience but they are a way to stay healthy and make new friends which is very important for kids now-a-days.

Journal Entry
Yesterday was pretty hectic. First, I had to wake up early to make up a test for math which was at 6:30 and then directly after school, I had to take my brother to get his haircut. After that I had soccer practice for two hours. Then, I had to go out to dinner for my grandma's birthday. Finally, when I got home, I had to finish up my homework and could go to bed at last.

Favorite B-Day Memory
My favorite birthday memory was from when I was eight years old and my birthday was at Laser Quest. It was only the second time I have ever been there and the second game in I ended up taking first over all the kids and their parents. I felt so happy after that, and that became one of my favorite birthdays overall.

Super Bowl XLVI
I watched the Super Bowl yesterday butit wasn't much of a big deal for me considering I don't care for either of the teams that played. I guess if I think about it, I'm kind of happy with the result since I never really cared for the Pats.

TED Talk 7
1. Pattie Maes and Pranav Mistry
2. The sixth sense. The talk was about a new invention that could possibly act as a humans sixth sense. Its a device that you are able to wear that can interact with the environment around you. For example, if you were at a grocery store and wanted to know how much a stray can of beans costs, all you have to do is let the device scan it and then it will be able to tell you the price. Also, depending on where you are, the invention can scan the environment around you and give you information around it. It's basically a wearable Google.
3. I thought it was pretty cool but then it made me question how dependable humans are on technology now. Everything we do is based around it and everyday, people are continuing to find shortcuts throught it, basically destroying our instict to explore or discover stuff ourselves.

Day Off
On my day off I had to wake up early to go to the dentist for teeth cleaning. Then, an hour or so later I went to the doctors because I have been sick all week. After that, all I did was chilled at home and watched T.V.
